The city of Tampere organizes every year an event called 'Green Week', which is all about informing the citizens of Tampere how to improve the protection of the nature around us.
I think this would be an excellent chance for the ECO2 project to promote their cause.
It is a traditional part of the Green Week to exchange perennial plants in front of the Ympäristötietokeskus Moreenia, and this is where my idea comes in.
ECO2 should find out whether, for example Metso, would be interested in donating the project seedlings of various tree species. If yes, ECO2 could set up a promotional tent in front of Moreenia where these seedlings would be given out to the visiting people. At the same time every seedling would come with a little tag - made of recycled paper - that would have the ECO2 and Metso logo on it. The tag could also contain a witty little sentence that would encourage the people to do something good for the environment. While handling out these seedlings, the promoters could also tell the people what the whole project is all about.
